How the Tesla referral program works in France

Short version: an owner shares their link, you click it before ordering, and Tesla automatically adds the benefit (1,000 km of Supercharging or €250). No code to retype, no sign-up. Here's the detail.

Link or code: it's the same thing

Tesla does not use a classic promo code you type into a box. The “referral link” is simply the referrer's code wrapped in a URL (e.g. ts.la/<code>). Clicking the link pre-applies the code — automatically.

The 3 steps

1. Click the referral link. The link (ts.la/code or tesla.com/fr_fr/referral/…) opens Tesla's official store with the benefit attached.
2. Configure and order. Pick your Model 3 or Model Y and options; the benefit follows your session.
3. Check the summary. The “Referral” line shows before payment. If it's missing, don't confirm: start over by clicking the link first.

When the benefit applies

The benefit must be attached before payment — it shows in the order summary. It is non-retroactive: it can't be added once the order is placed. One referral per order.

For the referrer

The owner who refers you earns €250 in Tesla Credits or 1,000 km of Supercharging per referral, capped at 10 per year, valid ~12 months. They find their link in the Tesla app → profile → Referrals.
