Non-retroactivity, forgetting the link, the 10/year cap, inflated figures: the concrete traps that cost 1,000 km or €250 — and how to avoid them.

1. Forgetting to click the link before configuring

This is mistake #1. The benefit is not retroactive: if you configure first, it's lost. Always click the link first.

2. Believing inflated figures

“€500 + 1,000 km”, “2,000 km”, “3 months of FSD”: false in France. The real benefit is 1,000 km or €250. See the FAQ.

3. Not checking the summary

The “Referral” line must appear before payment. Without it, the benefit isn't counted.

4. (Referrer side) exceeding the cap

The referrer is limited to 10 referrals per year; beyond that, no more credits. See share your code.

5. Expecting a referral on an unavailable model

Model S/X are no longer sold new in France; the Cybertruck isn't sold there. No French referral on those models.
